Our Team

  • AYLA

Ayla is a 9 year old registered black Canadian mare with a calm rational demeanor who enjoys ANY edible or non edible treats! Ayla is a great teacher of appropriate assertiveness.

  • LUCA

Luca is a Lusitano gelding standing at nearly 17HH.
With his gentle eyes and calm demeanor, Luca can make the most nervous person feel comfortable in his presence. This very special horse loves to please and has a soft spot for kids.

  • STARR

Starr is an 18 year old registered Icelandic horse. He is hands down, Mr. Congeniality of the herd, always being the first to greet any newcomer to the ranch. Starr loves the attention, and he is an enthusiastic team member. He's the kind of guy that's right there with you, all the way through. No doubt, he's an EAL star!

  • MARY

Little Mary is a 20 year old miniature Class B chestnut Shetland mare. She is a favorite with kids due to her playful and rambunctious nature. Don’t let her size foul you, she has an overflowing personality!

  • RHEA

Rhea is a 7 year old Paint mare. Although she grew up in a herd of wild horses in the Pemberton area, you wouldn’t guess! This flashy pony is of the friendliest nature. While curious and trusting, she does demand assertive leadership from her handler. Because of her young age, Rhea is part of our "teacher in training" crew.

  • SOLEIL

Soleil is a 15 year old Fjord Morgan mare. Soleil has a sweet and responsive temperament. She loves the attention and the cuddles.

  • DONKAY

    DONKAY

Our lovely miniature donkey is real clown and will have lots to teach once he’s done his training!

  • REVE

Our oldest senior, Reve is now 32 years old. This sweet old boy has well earned a retirement life, filled with freedom, treats, friends, pastures and the occasional EAL session.

  • RIP - LARS

Norwegian Fjord Lars, passed away at 34 years old on the ranch, surrounded by his loved ones. Lars was a master teacher of appropriate assertiveness and leadership as well as compassion.

Our eternal gratitude goes to Lars for the many years of joy he shared with us.
